Located on Lake Keystone, Walnut Creek State Park offers fishing, boating, water skiing and more. Visitors have access to swim beaches, lighted and unlighted boat ramps, a softball field, group picnic shelter and playground areas. The park has 73 full and semi-modern RV hookups and tent sites in addition to comfort stations with showers and picnic areas. Hikers, mountain bikers and equestrian enthusiasts will enjoy the 15 mile Sand Plum Trail which features flat to rolling terrain with many vistas of the lake. Visitors must bring their own horses, as horses are not available to rent at the park. This state park also offers an equestrian campground with electrical hookups, water, picnic areas, grills, picket posts and a comfort station.
